Write for us
We welcome clear, thoughtful pitches about matchmaking culture: the settings, customs, language and expectations that shape how people meet. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What to pitch
Suggest a focused story that explains one distinct custom, compares two meeting formats, explores a change in matchmaking language or gives readers a useful way to think about expectations. Choose a subject that can be handled with care and does not promise romantic outcomes.
What makes a strong proposal
Tell us the central question, why it matters to curious general readers and what fresh angle you would bring. Include a brief outline and note any factual material or sources the piece would rely on. Keep the proposal specific rather than sending a broad list of topics.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option to submit a proposal. Please do not send a finished article unless it has been requested. A proposal is not a promise of publication.
A match begins with a meeting, not a verdict
We look at the customs and choices around introductions with curiosity, not promises. People are more than a score or a checklist.
